Fees 

Fees 5.5 Day Instructor Training Course

The cost of the instructor training is $3500 which includes the 5.5 day training, an Instructor's Kit, and after training support from MHFA Canada.  This includes:

  • Access to the Instructor's website
  • Updated materials
  • Ongoing program evaluation
  • Instructor meetings, and
  • Individualized support

Course fees are paid for by cheque made out to "Mental Health Commission of Canada".

Participants are responsible for the cost of their travel and accommodations.  Light breakfast and lunch will be provided each day as part of the course fee.

Cancellation Fees

A fee of $300 is charged for cancellations received 4 or more weeks in advance of the course date.  A fee of $750 is charged for cancellations received less than 4 weeks in advance.   If notice is received after the course date or the registrant does not show for the course, no refund will be made.

 

Fees 3 Day Cross Certification Course

The 3 day course is for individuals who already have their Basic Instructor certification. The cost of the instructor training is $1800 which includes the 3 day training, an Instructor's Kit, and after-training support from MHFA Canada as noted above.  Participants are responsible for the cost of their travel and accommodations.  Light breakfast and lunch will be provided each day as part of the course fee.

Cancellation Fees

A fee of $200 is charged for cancellations received 4 weeks in advance of the course date.  A fee of $450 is charged for cancellations received less than 4 weeks in advance. If notice is received after the course date or the registrant does not show for the course, no refund will be made. 

How to Pay

Course fees are paid for by cheque made out to "Mental Health Commission of Canada". Fees must be received by cheque at the time of application.
