Keith has been a Registered Psychologist for 20 years in Newfoundland and Labrador. He is also a licensed teacher and has taught Junior High and High School. Prior to his career in Education and Psychology he spent four years in federal politics as Executive Assistant to the Hon. William Rompkey. Keith maintains an active private practice working mostly with adults. Currently he is the President of the Council of Special Services, a Special Interest Council of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers Association which provides professional development for special education teachers and school based specialists. In 2008 he was the recipient of the Barnes Award. This award was from the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers Association in rcognition for contribution to the professional development of teachers.
