The application process
Please be sure you review the Training Information, Selection Criteria, 5-day schedule and the Instructor Agreement before you submit your Application Form.
- Complete the Application Form and mail or fax, along with your resume, to Mental Health First Aid Canada.
- Arrange for your reference letters to be sent directly to MHFA Canada.
- Send in payment for course fees with the application.
- Pay by cheque made out to "Mental Health Commission of Canada"
- After all information has been received, a telephone interview may be arranged with candidates.
- You will be notified once a final decision has been reached.
- If accepted, specific details regarding the five day training will be provided.
